Welcome to the Premier version of DBSCTS.COM (Database System of Cardiothoracic Surgery). This is the advanced version of the currently existing free of charge official database of Pakistan Society of Cardiovascular & Thoracic Surgeons (www.dbscts.com.pk). The Premiere version is however based on the basic structure of old CASCADE Database of Cardiac Surgery which is a desktop system developed by Prof. Anjum Jalal and Mr. Afzal Hussain in 2004. The system has been in use for over a decade at King Khalid University Hospital (Riyadh), CPE Institute of Cardiology, Armed Forces Institute of Cardiology, Rawalpindi Institute of Cardiology and Faisalabad Institute of Cardiology. The old data of these centers has been transferred to this new online premiere version. The three units from Peshawar have also joined the premiere version recently.

We welcome any units/surgeons who desire to be a part of this database system. There are minimal monthly/annual charges and the members will have to comply with our External Validation Process on six-monthly basis.
